About Us
As
I walked down the hall and glanced in the room lined with cribs,
my mind filled with the faces of all the babies I had seen and
held over my 12 years of Russian trips. Each time I am there I
am moved by the plight of these children - the overlooked, the
ignored, the least.
The care and love shown by the men and women who do care for
these precious ones also moves me. Their commitment and dedication
in the face of decaying facilities and meager supplies, not to
mention little or no compensation amazes me!
As I have shared the principles of being a Leader Servant over
the past five years, I have often thought of these brave, caring
souls. What a great example of true servanthood and leadership
as they nurture these young lives.
Now,
as I stare at this bathroom with no hot water, at a toilet in
disrepair, my heart is screaming "I must do something! What
can I do?!?!"
What I can do is this: I can gather a team of people with a heart
to serve. I can share the principles of servant based leadership
with them and together we can put them into practice by tackling
these needs. I can raise funds for formula and food so that there
may be one less day of going hungry. I can bring clothes and diapers
so no baby has to be cold or wet. I can share the love of Christ
through a Servant Heart - serving these - the overlooked and ignored.
What can you do?
